Manchester City had a bid for the instrumental Chelsea player, which according to various English media was anything from 30 up to 40 million pounds sterling. The centre-half, who did not intend leaving Chelsea, however opted to keep his club and supporters in the dark until he finally spoke out and rejected the offer to move to the Eastlands.
Reportedly, before making the statement, he had intensive talks with Manchester City manager Mark Hughes asking for reassurances that City's squad will be reinforced for the campaign. Reports in the Guardian and the Times also suggested that Terry was upset because Chelsea failed to make a decent signing this summer, and that he was discontent with the turmoil in the club after the departure of Jose Mourinho. In the end, however, he insisted that leaving Stamford Bridge "was never a possibility".
Hughes reportedly was ready to offer as much as 200 000 pounds sterling a week for the Chelsea and England captain, a package which Hughes thought would be enough to lure Terry to Eastlands, that plus the reinforcement of the squad which is a clear indication that city would be striving for silverware this season.
"There has been a lot of speculation about my future lately and I want to clear this up once and for all," Terry said, quoted by the BBC. "I am totally committed to Chelsea and always have been. Chelsea have also made it clear to me consistently that there was never any intention of accepting any kind of offer.
"What is clear to me following those discussions is that Chelsea's ambition remains as high as ever. This has been further proved by the appointment of Carlo Ancelotti. I am certain he will take this club to the next level".
Regardless of his decision, Terry's behaviour indicated that deep down he did have doubts and harboured temptation. It is up to the Chelsea fans and his teammates to decide if he really is 110 per cent committed, and worth of the captain's armband.

Now I'm planning my summer trip to UK, it'll be Brighton and I'll be staying for 3 weeks. I can't wait, I really love UK and Brighton is not far from London and you all know that London is THE city. Hugh is there, Chelsea is there. :) I will finally buy JT shirt and visit Stamford Bridge. And I'll go to see a match and of course to support my (our) boys. I'm so excited....
Now Chelsea...What can I say? I'm really happy for Felipao, I was rooting for him. :) I don't like Rajkaard or Mancini and Big Phil remids me of Jose so... :) I'm also happy for Bosigwa, he played great on EC and I think he'll do just great for us. Deco...What can i say... He ain't bad but he ain't young either. But 7m is not much (at least not for Roman). Now we need a good striker eg: Villa. I heard Roman wanted to offer 30mil for Arshavin but I think that's very much for a 27 year old player. We'll see...
Cech was great also. If it wasn't for him and Terry we wouldn't play the penalities.
But I'm so mad at Drogba. And I blame him for the lost. Maybe I'm not fair but that's how I see it. Being sent off in the final is very stupid and bad. He left his team mates ti struggle with 10 players just because he couldn't controle him temper. *mad* That's awful.
About Avram - I felt sorry for him too and I think he should stay - but I'd like to see him leaving. Now I sound like a bad person, but he and Roman made Jose left. And I will never love him because of that.
Frankie was great. Essien, Carvalho, Makelele, Ballac and Ashely Cole too. :)

And I have done it. :) When I came to him I said: "Hello again. You have already signed my book but I came back for a photo if it's ok with you" and he said:" Oh you've been waiting so long again? Of course I want to have a photo with you." Awwwww...He is so great, so nice guy.
He was really awsome, because later some people (actually our publishers) told him it's time to go and he told them he won't go untill he sign books for all people who have been waiting.
I'm becoming boring but I was so amazed with him. You don't meet guy like that all the time. :) Maybe that's the thing with all British guys. They're nice by nature. I'll marry Englishman, I swear. *lol*

Today we had lovely weather so I went to shopping with my mom and I bought a new sneakers *yay*. I adore sneakers, in fact I'm obssesed with them. So another pair to my collection can't be bad. :)
I have a lot to study but I can't. I want, realy, but whenever I want to start something come up: I'm hungry, I want to sleep , maybe it's not a bad idea to watch "Flight of a Phoenix" again etc.... *lol*

Today was really great at school because I was helping one teacher to make some text about our school garden, so I didn' go to classes. :lol: .And yesterday happend to me something really weird: I never liked Daniel Craig, never.
